Who is this course for?
This course is for small business owners, operators or even IT managers who want to proactively prepare their business against cyber risk. The course is taught using non-technical, straightforward business language. We teach you how to manage cyber risk at your business just like you manage any other business risk.

Who are you? Why should I listen to you?
We are the National Cybersecurity Alliance, a nonprofit organization formed more than 20 years ago with a mission to create a more secure, interconnected world.
We run Cybersecurity Awareness Month every October and are a leader in cybersecurity education and awareness content.

What is different about this course and other cybersecurity courses?
Unlike most free online courses, this is not self paced. There are live taught classes, once per week for 6 weeks. This allows for open discussion with the instructor when you have questions.
There are also basic assignments in between each week that will help you understand your business' unique cyber risk profile.
Unlike more expensive live taught courses, you can do this course from the comfort of your office/home while still having opportunities to engage with the instructor and program staff. You also keep access to the course materials and discussion forum after the course is complete.
How quickly will I see results?
If you follow the lessons and complete the assignments, you will have a strong understanding of your cyber risk profile and who is responsible for each component of your cybersecurity strategy by the end the course.
If you don't attend and don't complete the assignments, you will not get the same results.
Do I get lifetime access?
Yes, the course materials and forum are available to you even after your 6-week course ends.
Does the course come with call or email support?
Yes, the course instructor and Cybersecure My Business program staff are available via the program forum and email through the whole course. Also, the instructor stays on for 30 minutes after each lesson for open discussion if you have questions.
